On December 1, the 2023 Intelligent Equipment and Technology Exchange Forum, hosted by ZPMC, a subsidiary of CCCC, took place in Guangzhou. The event drew participation of over 400 experts from 36 countries and regions to explore the development trend of equipment manufacturing in the port shipping and offshore industries.
The forum, themed "Empowering Green Development, Leading the Future," comprised a main forum and two parallel forums. During the event, ZPMC unveiled 14 new technologies and products in the fields of port machinery and marine heavy industries, showcasing CCCC's fully integrated industry chain services in port shipping. The exhibition highlighted the charm of both Chinese-made and Chinese-developed equipment.
The main forum focused on the theme of "digitalization", elaborated the digitization process of ZPMC in port machinery, intelligent manufacturing, automated terminal system, automation control technology and other aspects, and demonstrated the unremitting exploration of digital transformation and intelligent manufacturing of China's equipment manufacturing industry represented by ZPMC.
In the forum on intelligent and green innovation in port equipment, ZPMC shared research results on the future development trends of automated docks and the strategies for the low-carbon development of smart ports, including unmanned driving and cloud-based systems, contributing to the high-quality development of smart ports and green ports. The forum also showcased ZPMC's automation and logistics equipment technology to improve port efficiency.

In the forum on marine equipment and intelligent manufacturing innovation, ZPMC shared insights into ongoing projects, including the world's largest 3,500t self-propelled jack-up wind turbine installation vessel, and the world's first floating wind turbine photovoltaic integration offshore engineering project. These innovations demonstrated ZPMC's integrated capabilities in design, intelligent manufacturing, commissioning, transportation, and after-sales service in the marine heavy industry.
3,500t self-propelled jack-up wind turbine installation vessel has a maximum operating water depth of 70 meters and can be used for wind turbine installation of more than 20 MW.
The floating wind turbine photovoltaic integration offshore engineering project explores a new path of "sea granary + green energy".
During the forum, ZPMC Ceremony of 10,000th Spreader Delivery was held, marking the delivery of the 10,000th spreader.
